Character creation

Mainly ZBrush, with Blender alongside it. Better forms, better structure, better understanding of what sits under the surface.
About / 01 Where I’m at
I’m Avi. I started learning 3D on 28 June 2026, and this site is basically my public notebook — what I’m working on, what I’ve paused, what went wrong, and hopefully what keeps getting better.
I’m not trying to make this site look like I’ve been doing 3D for ten years. I haven’t.
I do want the site itself to feel considered, though. The work can be rough while I’m learning; the way I document it doesn’t have to be.
The idea is simple: keep making things, put them somewhere public, enter competitions when I can, talk to more artists, and make it harder to quietly give up when something gets difficult.
03 Right now
There are a hundred directions I could disappear into with 3D. These are the three I’m actually trying to move forward at the moment.
Mainly ZBrush, with Blender alongside it. Better forms, better structure, better understanding of what sits under the surface.
Learning how the things I build actually move — rig setup, weights, deformation and eventually animation that feels intentional.
Bringing assets into Unreal Engine and slowly turning a pile of game ideas into things that can actually be played.
04 Current toolkit
I’m not trying to collect software logos. These are simply the tools I’m currently using to get from an idea to something finished.
Sculpting / anatomy / forms
Modelling / rigging / animation
Game development / integration
Texturing / materials
05 Accountability
I want competitions and community posting to become part of the routine, not something I only do when I think a piece is already perfect.
One dedicated competition day each week, building toward full monthly submissions instead of rushed last-minute entries.
Post more often, show process, ask questions and get comfortable sharing work before it feels “ready.”
Keep the projects, pauses, experiments and improvements visible. The archive should become part of the story.
